Be proud of your skin color. Being dark is not inferior, it’s greatness. What color is a judge’s robe? What color is the original graduation robe? What is the highest color belt in karate? If this color resembles greatness, why are you ashamed of it?

Boddhi Satva ft Vikter Duplaix.

Even with the Bujo Mujo tacky feel to the sound in the beginning, this song still triumphs. too many hearts given for this song and no matter how many more people i can kill to get more hearts, they wouldnt be enough to express my love for this song. many thanks to @Nolundi_M for the lovely recommendation.

for the love of house music.

HANNIBAL

Absolutely one of the best shows on TV right now, well unfortunately not on South African Tv sets yet but we all know soon enough MNET will catch up. it always does.

Hannibal is in the same league with Bates Motel however Bates does lack a little in deliverance of characters, i felt insulted at times watching it, the make up effects weren’t believable and these little factors honestly contribute to the overall feel of an episode, not the whole show but episode. nonetheless still a good show, so far that is .

another show to watch is The Americans, its cliff-hanging endings will keep you coming back, so thrilling. am i alone on saying Scandal has become quite bland now? like its soo much easier for your mind to wonder while watching it than when it first started? i cannot be alone.

i still feel The Good Wife remains exceptional four seasons later.

enough of my pseudo-reviewing.

Paris is Burning

first heard about this documentary i believe 2 years ago and i went onto youtube to watch, didnt even get past 15mins of it. back then, i felt it was boring and only now i realize its because i had so little respect for LGBTI people. why did enjoy it now?  it is certainly because of the new found respect i have for the community, and this is all thanks to Rupauls drag race. in just those 40 minute episodes full of laughter, i have come to learn how the art of drag is so beautiful. the continued struggles the artists have in finding love or belonging- you grow a sense of admiration for them and their passion and you in turn want just that for yourself. this respect and admiration has (and thankfully so) transcended the box of the art of drag queens and moved into loving the LBGTI community as a whole. this is quite sad especially because i am a gay guy myself and even though i have experienced the bullying realness i get served now and again, i still was never aware of how strong, beautiful and courageous i actually am.

its brilliant and very inspiring, only watch if you are willing to open your mind, do not “other” them as this will be the one reason you will fail to see how beautiful their stories actually are. beauty is sometimes sad but it is still beauty.

Gotye live performance- Save me.

i would really love to see him live, hes really good- sounds just like he does on record and i really prefer that over performances whereby the whole song is re-arranged and all you can do is watch.   still on live performances, i bought my Rihanna golden circle ticket  ( waves “BYE BITCH”)  ticket for October and i know exactly what i’m in for- pitchy voice and lazy erotic dancing. however im hoping she disappoints me  and even if she doesnt, i’ll still be an unapologetic fan. you gotta choose those you love and shes one of my choices.

loved Making Mirrors, it was certainly among my favourite albums in 2012, man just thinking about it brings back so many memories.

i love it when an artist does not change a song so much you cannot even sing along, honestly the reason i believe one would even attend a concert is to sing along and not just watch, wheres the fun in only watching? this is music u love singling along to and if i wanted to just watch- there’s Youtube and Vimeo as optionS.  she sings just as beautifully as she does on record.

loved watching this.
